Anthony Villegas, 26, was arrested Monday at the Connecticut Superior Court House by judicial marshals and then turned over to Greenwich Police, said Greenwich Lt. John Slusarz.
Court records show that Villegas was arrested in January 2017 in Greenwich on charges of second-degree unlawful restraint and disorderly conduct. The circumstances surrounding the arrest were not available.
Villegas was also arrested in 2016 for allegedly pulling a mail opener on his stepfather after being accused of bringing prostitutes back to the family’s home. His stepfather, who feared for his life, called the police.
